Gregory Scherrer received his PhD in cellular biology from Strasbourg University, France, in 2005. He then completed postdoctoral trainings at UCSF and Columbia University. Dr. Scherrer’s laboratory investigates the neural circuits and molecular mechanisms underlying pain perception and opioid analgesia, using mouse genetics, electrophysiology, in vivo imaging and behavioral analysis.
