Joseph Hadaya, MD is completing a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology, and working on projects examining the role of the autonomic nervous system in the regulation of cardiovascular function, as well as dysfunction of the nervous system in the setting of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Hadaya returned to UCLA to complete his General Surgery residency training and was accepted into the Specialty Training and Advanced Research (STAR) Program and the Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology (MCIP) PhD program. HIs long-term goal is to develop a translational research program at the intersection of cardiovascular surgery, autonomic neuroscience, and interventional therapeutics.
