Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Neurovations Education looks forward to welcoming you to Kauai for the 9th Kauai Pain Conference. The health and safety of our community is the highest priority.

Attendee Requirements

There are no longer any COVID-related requirements for arriving domestic passengers into the State of Hawaii. Additionally, as of June 12, 2022, the U.S. federal government no longer requires a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result or recovery from COVID-19 documentation. For more information, please click here.

  • Attendees do not need to show proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test, to attend the conference.

Mask are Now Optional in Hawaii

The State of Hawaii's indoor mask mandate expired on March 25th, 2022. Wearing a mask is optional in most settings, except where required by federal law. Federal regulations requiring face coverings at the airport and Kauai bus/shuttle have been eliminated but remain under Federal review and may be reinstated.

  • Masks are still strongly recommended for people over age 65, those with compromised immune systems or who care for people at risk of severe illness, and those unvaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Some businesses may still require or encourage the wearing of masks.
