Since 1948 the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that ”Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being…” Specifically, Global Health is the area of study, research and practice to improve health and achieve equity in health for all people worldwide.

Today, there are new possibilities to assist global health like the world wide web and internet and how to handle big data not to focus on how much but what you do with it. In particular, the fascinating development of new technologies open up avenues to improve health and the expanding participation of citizens not only as patients but also as collaborators in health sciences will have a great future impact not least of how to align and equalize.

The division of the world into Industrialized and Developing, so obvious in the two final decades of the 20th century, do no longer exist. But, our societies within cities and regions are increasingly divided, segregated. This creates different problems that must be addressed from other angles and one approach is to align and equalize societies. In order to advance the disadvantaged, various solutions to the five challenges below are needed:

  1. Education and Poverty
  2. Sanitation problems and lack of water and light
  3. Infectious diseases
  4. Migration, Violence and Conflict
  5. Climate change
