Robert M.G. Reinhart PhD

Robert M.G. Reinhart, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University, where he also directs the Visual Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in May 2016 under the mentorship of Drs. Geoffrey F. Woodman, Sohee Park, and Jeffrey D. Schall, forwent post-doctoral training, and accepted a faculty position at Boston University the same year. His research focuses on the large-scale neurophysiology of visual perception and cognition in healthy young adults, normal aging, and neuropsychiatric populations, such as schizophrenia. Dr. Reinhart uses behavior, eye tracking, electrophysiology, and noninvasive neuromodulation methods to study topics including visual attention, cognitive control, learning, working memory, decision-making, and reward processing. The NIH supports his work.
