Learning Objectives

As a result of participating in this activity, learners will be better able/better-able to:

  • work with caregivers to implement safe disposal of medications for terminally ill patients after the patient's end of life
  • comply with relevant Medicate and/or DEA requirements for the disposal of controlled substances
