Diana Burgess, PhD is Director of the VA Advanced Fellowship Program in Health Services Research at the Center for Care Delivery and Outcomes Research at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Healthcare System and Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on non-pharmacological treatment for chronic pain, with an emphasis on marginalized groups. She currently is the Principal Investigator on an effectiveness-implementation trial of a mindfulness intervention for Veterans with chronic pain, funded by the Department of Defense.
